What Comes First Cake Cutting Or Toast

When do these happen? My DJ and twenty-four hours of coordinator have different opinions of when these occur and I'k non certain either. Can you all delight assist?

Usually your first trip the light fantastic is right after you lot make your archway to your reception. Then yous thank everyone for coming and serve dinner. Then cake cutting and while they're cut the cake and serving it to guests, yous have toasts.

I'1000 not sure how it happend but the WP will enter, we will start eating, have first dance, toasts, trip the light fantastic toe some more and and so cake cut!

I've seen it where information technology is the entrance and then toasts and dinner, with everything else later dinner. I've seen it where they have the entrance, cut the cake, so do toasts and dinner. Really you can do information technology however Yous desire.

My timeline looks almost like dragonfly726's, only we're having our MOH/BM do their toasts right before we cut our block.

Because of the way our venue was setup, we did this in the following order:

**introductions

**dinner

**toasts

**block cutting

**offset dance

I think you can do it anyway you desire to....only think of your guests. Y'all dont desire them milling around, being ordered to move from area to the next. its like herding cats. Our venue was gear up on ii levels. Eating/cake on the principal flooring, and then trip the light fantastic floor in the basement. So it didnt make sense to send everyone downstairs to picket the beginning trip the light fantastic toe So ask them to movement BACK upstairs for the cake cut.

Recall how it will flow. If information technology makes sense to practice the dance right later introductions, then do it. Only do it the way YOU want to. You are paying your DJ and Coordinator to follow your instructions. good luck!
